Dear Bottomfeeder enthusiast, We are delighted
to see that
you and others had a nice time during the recent concert at the Royal
Canadian
Legion. As you are aware, our musical group explores a number of styles which may be categorized as "folk" or "roots" music. These musical genres usually have a strong tradition associated with them. As practitioners, we have striven to respect these traditions, whether they be country & western, or polka. In addition, we have taken great pleasure in our fans' respect of these traditions. Activities such as dancing, singing along, buying drinks for the band and general joviality are noble components of the roots music tradition. So are drinking to excess, insulting your friends and leaving the building with strangers . . . We heartily endorse the pursuit of these traditions. So it is with concern then that we hear of activities that did not respect these traditions. The recent outbreak of 'breast-baring' at our concert intrigues us. Breast-baring at musical events is traditionally done a) near the front of the stage and b) directed towards the performers. The recent break with protocol is of concern. . . we are not able to perform near the pool table. Please treat these concerns with the seriousness they deserve. Repectfully, Some Bottomfeeders

Dear Some Bottomfeeders: We sincerely apologize for failing to respect proper traditions at your recent concert. We did not realize that our failure to a) bare in front of the stage and b) direct our antics towards ther performers would create such a severe reprimand. As this particular enthusiast recalls circumstances prevented following protocol. First of all, the band was on a break during the major BB event. Secondly, we usually only perform to an appreciative audience. Now that we have been apprised of your interest, we will consider taking appropriate action at future events. To avoid any misunderstandings at said future events, we would like to clarify that this might not be strictly a full BB event, but may be a mixture of the full BB and the regular (but always interesting) BB event (for your information a full BB would be Breast Baring while just a regular BB is Bra Bearing). We hope that this does not in any way lessen the intrigue you may have towards this particular activity. Sincerely, Some BB women and Bottomfeeder enthusiasts (in all connotations) (Please note that in the above dialog, BB does not in any way refer to breast size, as some may exceed the traditional B while others may fall sadly short of a B...). |
